Adjusting ride height means that....

... I will always have to do the tracking after that? I am more concerned about the toe in/out values
Do they change after messing with the ride height?

Toe in out is your tracking mate, changing the ride height changes toe in out and camber I think

I know that when I fitted the camber bolts I had to do the tracking after. So you get some coilies, set them 30 mm lower for road use, do the tracking; then you go to a track day, get them an extra 30 mm lower, do the tracking and then you do it once more after returning to the road setup? this seems rather complicated.. :(

Suspension geometry IS complicated though lol!

Just get them set up for the best mixture of both if I was you mate, well actually if I was you you'd be me and prefer the standard set up :p

You can getaway with lowering or raising a touch with reconfiguring geometry settings

gaz coilies on their way so I'm researching (yes I know they're not well seen here but I wanted the damping adjustment ;) )
I think a better question will be: If lowering what happens with the toe settings? it goes out or in? this would be helpful to know :D

If I kept the same suspension settings that were professionally set up for my 16s and I switch to 15s with 195/45s, would I need to adjust the suspension/tracking if I'm not bottoming out? Car feels great bar a very slight shudder at 80ish.

lower = more toe out

set the ride height (corner weighting is worthwhile on track car) and leave it alone

toe out meaning that the wheels will be opened to the front of the car? I'm asking cause I know toe in/out means different to some people

GHA, If I had 900 I wouldn't risk it on gaz and went for h&r or smth :)

Ive had GHA's for the last 2 1/2 years always got on well with them and Gaz have brilliant customer service. But one thing i dont quite understand and i can only assume they have changed since i got mine, the fronts on mine have rebound adjustment not damping adjustment.. even Gaz's site says GHA's have damping adjust so they must have changed.. my rears are damping adjustable, when i wanted my fronts firmer Gaz picked them up increased the bump and sent them back to me cost free which was good :) I also went too 400lbs front springs but them only cost something like £30!!

Any who enjoy and let us know if your ones are actually damp adjustable up front :D

will do ;) Glad to hear someone actually happy with gaz. My only concern is that I live quite far from Gaz themselves and a warranty claim would give me some headache but I hope for the best.
After all I was lucky with my milltek LOL

and according to post#9 adding camber gives toe in. This is what happened to mine when I added camber via camber bolts
So basically there are 2 ways of adding camber:
1. by lowering- in which case you will get toe out
2. by camber bolts or adjustable top mounts- which will give you toe in
Is this correct?

Was thinking and it just made sense how the toe changes with adding camber. Doesn't matter if you add it by using bolts or anything else. Easy to understand if you draw a sketch of the joints in the suspension and try and figure out what happens.
Hope this thread will answer some questions for others looking for the straight answer ;)

Just got my coils mounted and according to GAZ the adjuster knobs affects both bump and rebound.
If changing the springs to harder spec am I gonna have to send the shocks to gas to re-seal them?
Chances of them leaking will decrease if I keep them at a softer setting?
would be tricky If I had to send the shocks to gaz because I'm quite far away ..
