Adrian Flux Question

Car  mk5 fiesta zetec s
just wondered if anyone on here is with them and did they charge you for your modifications? :) cheers. (because i want to get some alloys and lower the car tommorow ta.

For me wheels, springs, side skirts made no difference. Think they are only fussed about performance enhancing mods.

not sure tbh. Might vary depending on age, im 25. I wouldn't expect it to go up much even at 18 with adrian flux though.

What company is that with? Adrian flux for me covered all mods for free, that was with two different companies.

adrian flux didnt charge me to lower the car on coilovers. they said if i had done engine performance upgrades etc then it would effect my policy price etc

Im with Flux. Alloys and lowering declared. Theyre quite good in the sence that they dont charge you for adding new asthetic mods, only power enhancing modifications. They'll also replace parts like for like.

Only problem is theyre cripplingly expensive. 20 years old, 2 NCB, nearly 3 years driving and a good postcode, £800 a year!

I'm gob smacked. I pay £890 with bell this year. Just did an insurance quote with Flux with 1 year NCB and it £555.51. i may be swaping new year :)

i was always under the imperssion they didn't replace like for like... the modded parts would not be covered in the event of an accident that was your fault??

That's pretty good tbh I was paying £1400 TPF&T when 20 on a group 12 car!

I'm with Flux and my Sportline springs cost me nothing extra, pay about an extra tenner for the stainless and K+N. I have like for like cover on mods, regardless of whether the accident is my fault or not. I pay £330 fully comp on my 172 Cup.

When I took out my policy they wanted to know the exact make and model of my mods, supposedly so they could replace anything damaged/stolen like for like.

Not really. I drive a 1.2 Dynamique! :S

im with adrian flux and ive got my exhaust and wheels on the insurance and hasnt made a difference

i got given free visual mods on my insurance with adrian flux, i'm paying £1400 for my 1.2 authentique, although i'm 19 with 0 no claims due to being a named driver on a direct line policy previously lol.
