didn't notice any difference in pedal feel when i did mine; i think the main point is in track work - rubber hoses can expand as they get hot, giving you an inconsistent pedal. should last longer as well

Can't understand why they weren't fitted as standard. I know there are cost implications but given the money and effort that goes into sorting the performance and handling of Renaultsport cars - seems like a cheap improvement. Do the later ones have them as standard? (i.e. 197 and 200.)

mine feel good, but i replaced the fluid with dot 5.1 at the same time.
also running ultraleggeras which are far superior at cooling the brakes than the standard crap 182 wheels.

Yes they are, just changed mine to HEL at the front only, didn't bother with the back ones as they were too long.

I cut open the old originals and found out they were braided.

The HEL rears are a little longer than Goodridge and the OE items, but they go on fine. NWPerformance have fitted stacks of them.

Looked like they would kink up in such a small space, thats why I didn't do the rears.
