Advantages of HID's?

Renault have made it so the main beam is in the correct place so why would you take it out and then use a bi-xenon get in the dipped beam?

Pointless.

You need H1 for main beam and H7 for dipped beam. Both single options.

Not an option for Bi-xenon as it wasnt designed for it

I'm getting the impression you really don't have a clue what you are talking about. Not an option for bi-xenon as it wasn't designed for it? The non sport lights weren't designed for xenons full stop. Doesn't mean they can't be fitted though does it?

And for those who want xenon main beam as well as dipped headlight, how is fitting one bi-xenon kit 'pointless'? I know a lot of people won't want to bother with xenon main beams as they are rarely used in the majority of cases, but if you do a lot of driving on dark, unlit roads then xenon main beams would be great. In this case, why would anyone want to fit two separate xenon kits, when they can just use a single bi-xenon kit? Finding suitable locations for 2 ballasts is much easier than finding locations for 4!

Anyway, the OP has bought a kit now so it makes no difference

Xenon main beams are a bad idea anyway. There is a reason the car manufacturers use halogens as main beam as well. Down to being able to flash at people. You just can't do it the same with a xenon beam. Hence why most cars are now equipped with Bi-Xenons. So they can still do the main beam but have a halogen there for when you need to flash at someone.

Personally love the xenons on the C4. Bi-Directional items. Great gadget always thought they would be a bit of a gimmick, but on a dark country road they are amazing. Actually having full light around the corner is a brilliant idea.

Do you dont understand that you will simply have the lights in the wrong place, where they were not designed to be. Prob dazzling drivers!

Why do it wrong to save money.
