Advice needed

I don't want to change the standard 172 stereo/ changer / speakers but want more bass would an amp and bass box or subs do the jib and if so is it easy to hook them up to the standard kit? TIA

Will it sound ok though? should i just power the sub with the amp and turn the bass down on the headunit for the speakers?

hi im lookin at doin the same putting my bassbox in the clio with the std system is there a how 2 guide or anything? as theres no aux sockets in the rear of the headunit :S

they are rca's not auxillary sockets,aux is for sound into the unit,rca outputs are for sound out,you buy a line output converter and then a sub and amp can be connected but youll lose your front or rear speakers

line output converters are only 10 quid,its best to only have sound from the front anyway but its up to you
