Advice on alloys

I own a MK2 PH2 Clio Dynamique and I'm after some new alloys.

I was wondering what I'd need to look out for when buying them, like sizes and stuff, and what would be the maximum size i could get for my car without it rubbing etc.

you can get 15"/16"/17"s for your 1.2 no problem. No rubbing etc, unless you slam the suspension

yeah it will be okay... I had 40mm drop on 17"s no problem.
then I had 17"s on coilover suspension 70mm front 80mm rear, but i took the arch liners out in the front..

I was actually looking at those earlier, bit too 'girly' for me. I'm actually after some black ones though, not sure what style/model/make or anything yet.

I would only get 15's if i were doing a euro theme
16's for handling
17's for looks

All will fit nicely though without rubbing

dont be so sure . ET 30 on my rear rub like a b*****d

i got 15's lowered 60mm and only get rubbing on full lock wither way no other rubbing at all!!! but could easly get 16's with a 60mm drop

What about 17s lowered 30mm? I wasn't planning on lowering, I'll see how they look without first.

17s are to much on the clio for me - to chav, get the 172ff alloys or the OZf1's ect
