Advice please-Pipercross/Remap

  Clio 172 Cup
I've got a Pipercross viper fitted - came with the car when I bought it..

On reading many other threads it seems that it's worse than useless without a remap which I haven't had done..

The cold air pipe connected to it now has a big hole in it. I've got a new duct pipe ordered and on the way..

My options are:

Remove the Viper & put the original box back on,

or, replace the ducting & get a remap.

What would you lot do? No brainer?

If it's a remap, who's best to go for & how is that gonna affect my fuel consumption?

Wrap some black insulating take round to seal the hole.

Also dont connect it up. From experience this causes restriction. Point the cold air feed at the Viper.

You dont need to map it but to get the best out of the kit its wise to

Fuel consumption shouldnt be much of a issue. I get the same now with 200bhp as i did when the car came out the factory.

^^^^as said above , i didn't get mine remapped till 2yrs after the viper was installed , had all other the mods done 1st before the remap .
