hi, i just bought a 52 plate clio cup 172, its got 98k on the clock was planning on turning it into a track car, just wondering what i could do to get a bit more bhp out of it, it already has an exhaust system on it, looking to do it cheap around £1500 cheers

Strip it mate, handling and brakes are better ways to spend your money

As above, more power is big bucks on these.

If the belts are due you could drop a set of cams in.

Your going to struggle with 1.5k tbh. There is a jms job for that sought of money iirc? I would listen to Chi though and get a good set up and get it stripped down to 900kg.
