My mate has just got a 172 and it had no tax. For him to get tax he needs his insurance documents which wont arrive till tuesday. What should he do? it has MOT and he has all documents in car such as a conformation of insuarance and the log book. Also what do u put in the coolent level on the 172 is it same as 182 and where can it be got.

#1. He waits till tuesday.

#2. As per the manual, but in case you dont have a manual - as long as the coolant level is between "min" and "max" youll be fine.

if you havent got any coolant to make a mixture up youll be fine just topping it up with water.

id leave it till hes lgal to drive it too, itll be the one time hell get pulled by the old bill...

Or he could just sit in the car pretending to drive it . Like we did with our Dads cars when we were kids. Making our own engine noises.
