advise to clean the induction kit

Left mine to soak in very hot soapy water for 10 mins, then ran a hot tap through the inside of the air filter flushing all the crap out.
Used my fingers to foam up the sponge and clean it all out.
Left to dry on the radiator for about an hour and re-oiled using pipercross oil.
If its a panel filter do the same but use the cleaner stuff in the kit.
