Aftermarket Gear Knobs.

Whats the difference between lift reverse and normal, i know that ones lift etc. but whats the difference in the aftermarket ones? Because i didn't think the lift bit was included in the knob.

Basically the bottom of the 'lift up' aftermarket ones will have space underneath for the standard lift up part.

I'm guessing the whole gearbox needs to be changed to have "non lift-reverse" in the car?

Yes. we have to lift the gaiter to get into reverse.. i spose you could remove it but i wouldnt suggest it.

Oh well, i just think the non-lift reverse aftermarket gear knobs look a lot better.
