Aftermarket Horn wiring

  clio 172
Hi lads,

I'm sure this topic as been covered a bazzilion times but I'm going to play the "I couldn't find it after loads of searching" card which I've been doing loads of but cant seem to find a straight answer. Recently purchased a new OMP steering wheel for my PH2 clio 172. The wheel came with this horn:

front of horn.jpg
back of horn.jpg

My question is from the black/red wires that the original horn uses what wires go on to what terminals on my new horn?

I've read threads that the Spring clip on the top left of the back view of the horn needs to be removed to prevent shorting and other threads sayings you only need to wire one wire to horn, but which one and to what terminal on the new horn?

I know an easy solution is getting a PH1 stalk with the horn already on it but I'd rather wire this horn up instead

Any help is greatly appreciated

Cheers

It doesn't matter as both cables are live, wrap the terminals with tape after to ensure they can't short. I used insulated space connectors which also helps.

If you touched the two cables together your horn would go off, it's only if they wires were to touch something else they would short. No need to remove the spring, I haven't and had no issues.
