aftermarket mirrors for mk3 clio

see when you fit these, am i right in saying the temperature sensor is on the lefthand mirror, so will replacing the mirror lose you this function?

or is this another form of sensor? Anyone fitted mirrors and lost anything?

I think you would have to get your irish screwdriver out, basically i reckon you can strip down the left hand mirror to remove the temp sensor, then just relocate this to somewhere else (ie have it secured somewhere near the front bumper inside the engine bay so it would still work)

wack on your new mirrors, job done!!!!! I want to get some dtm style mirrors or some cup racing type ones in carbon fibre

Ah but if its near the engine bay itll give too high reading, why not fit it into the new n/s mirror

It wont if its in front of the engine near to the bottom of the front bumper
