Aftermarket Speakers (Pioneee)

  RSi 8v,1.816v,172cup
Hi all

I have recently got a 172 Cup. Totally amazing car so far. Few niggles to sort but hey it's 10years old.

My question is I would like half decent sounds in there for the less spirited journeys. It looks like the rears have been "upgraded" they sound awful nearly as bad as the standard fronts.

I've been looking at the custom fit/renault specific pioneers, so would just like to know will I be getting better sound? I am going to change the aftermarket pioneer HU that was left in the car. I'm not keen on wiring an amp in if I can help it

Any help or advice much appreciated

Use the custom-fit pioneer jobs (the yellow-coned ones) for easy replacement.

Whack sound deadening on everything (this will negate the 2kg difference a Cup makes, so careful in dem twistiez)

Get an Alpine head unit and get the power-pack in-line amplifier.

Thanks for the advice. I'm not so bothered on sound deadening everything. I don't want to be able to make my ears bleed just a bit of volume and a better sound would be perfect. So on the recommendations for the custom fits I think I'll go with them.

Thank you
