Aftermarket Steering Wheel - Improve Driving Position

As title really. Been looking into improving the driving position in my car. Had a play around today and i'm happy with how i'm sat in relation to the pedals but i'd like the wheel to be closer to me.

A friend suggested i get an aftermarket wheel with a bit of an offset so the wheel is then closer.

Anyone done anything similar to this? Any positive experiences with normal aftermarket wheels?

p.s. i think there's been an aftermarket steering wheel thread recently but i couldn't find it. soz. lol.

i like the look of warrens one. interested to see what diffence it made. kinda hard to get a comparison when most people with aftermarket wheels like this have buckets too. lol.

Ah sorry. On me iPhone LOL.

PM jon13s as he had standard seats and the cup racer sabelt wheel.

Much better to drove over standard wheel and the boss does bring it out a few inches more.

Mines awesome! Brings the wheel to a far more comfy position. You can either get spacers or a dished wheel. I went for a dish, reason being the airbag obviously has to go. The dished wheel means the hard bits are further away lol.
