Aftermarket wheel

Im planning on getting a new wheel without an airbag whats the complications with this? .....Does the airbag light need sorting with a resister or can i leave with it on?...Also being a 182 with the cruise control buttons how are these connected to the wheel do i need to cut any wires at all as i dont really want to do this incase i sell the car in the future and put the original wheel on.

Any info would be great
