DF253 is odd, DF056-what exactly does this do? My lad's is stuck in the reclined position (400 ohms?).

So whats the question Sven?

It needs the crash data removing from the existing SRS ecu or it needs the ecu replacing. Then you need to replace the spent components and reconfigure the ecu to suit the hardware.

It depends on the year/spec of the vehicle though and towards the end of the X65 they fitted what was in stock.

Have you looked at the actual rear reels yet to see if they are infact charged reels? It coukd be that someone has tried to fix the issue by installing an SRS ECU from a different vehicle and the config is just wrong. (Do the vin numbers match the vehicle?)

2002 utter bog standard authentique

I've not seen the reels yet but the odd colour rear belt would suggest someone has swapped it. The ecu appers original and the VIN does match. I'll Swapp the odd belt for a matching one and then reconfig it when I've had th crash data wiped. The last person i used to wipe my last batch of ECU's screwed me around which was why I was asking if anyone on here reset them.

For the price of them in scrap yards now i don't bother anymore (we pay £7-10 for them gaurenteed no deployment). Just lock it then re-write the vin in one piece of software then fit it, back to CLIP to reconfigure it when its fitted and free the triggers.
