Air Con + Fuel =

Car  Leon TDI

My 172 is the first car ive had which has Air Conditioning.
As today was really warm, i had the Air Con on for the first time. :D

How much will the Air Con affect my MPG?
Will the loss be noticable through the trip computer?

I havnt really noticed any difference and mine has been on pretty much constantly for the last week

Very tiny difference these days. Your ECU turns off the air-con if you floor the throttle by the way to make sure you dont lose that vital 1 bhp that it uses!

Ye its like the difference between hydraulic power steering and electric.. electric will return better MPG but its not noticable.
