Air Con on a Clio 3 1.4

Hi there,

My wife's Clio has a problem with the air con which some of you may have come across. Basically she can switch it on and the button lights up to show the unit is on, but nothing else happens ie the air con does not work. I have checked the obvious fuses etc but these are OK. Just wondered if air con problems were common across the clio 3 range and if it was likely to be something simple
