air ducting...attention valver owners

i am trying to put in my own ducting that will come from the blanking plate next to the fog light up to the airbox

i have come across the problem that a piece of ducting is actually attached to the car, how do i get this off

any help appreciated

And you've copied me, been on my cars for years now ;)

Just take the pipe out from behind the bumper.

i spent 2 hours yesturday trying to get it out and it was stuck... you know the bit i meen

the bit that the pipe from the airbox connects to, i unclipped the open end of it but couldn't get that piece out..

The piece that goes through the metal bracket that is fasterned to the body you mean! The bracket can be unbolted, that pipe is almost impossible to get out without breaking it. You could try bending the bracket a little so you could ease the lugs on the pipe through, or just break it off

i think i will need to get the car in the air then as i can't really get to it otherwise.

so i would have to unbolt that bracket to get the pipe out
