air filter cover keeps coming off

ive got a 1.2 mk2 ph1 and the air filter cover keeps coming off every 1000miles. ive tried to cable tie it on but still keeps doing (well with the cable tie it does stay on for longer)

any ideas on what i can do for a permenant fix

i have toyed with the idea of superglue but wouldnt be ideal in the long term

Not sure how they're fixed on? pics? Blu-tack it on? Pikey styleee

I'm sure a standard Jubilee Clip would do this fine would it no :s

it sort of twists on then theres a little clip that keeps it in place. the only problem is keeping this clip down to stop it twisting itself off hence the cable ties

Use a jubilee clip fella, will work better than cable ties
