Air filter help

Just been give a cone air filter by my mate who doesnt need it. it wont directly fit onto the engine as its a cirular fitting and the Mk2 clio is like a oval, anyone know if or where i can get a pipe so i can fit it from the oval engine part to the filter? Im abit useless with these sort of things! Cheers

Not too sure... maybe places like halfrauds as they sell open filters etc...

Although it will prob lose you power.

i know the oval your talking about.. On the RS the intake is round BUT the cafs (2 of them) also connect oval into the airbox..

might be worth looking at those CAF-connectors as they go round-to-oval :approve:

go to the junkyard see if a 172 is there (make 2) and rip out the feeds

im just about to sell my pipercross induction kit.....fits str8 onto my 2002 clio 1.216v looks like this then...without the heatshield and piping obviously.....

save you the potch at the end of the day !!

do you need a certain air filter for your car? apparantly u gotta get the right size or somthing?
