air filter housing - please help

Guys

My air filter housing clips snapped the other day and I need to replace the whole lot. Renault wanted £70 for a new one but I found a few people on E-bay who will sell it for a tenner. But none of them know much about Clios and nor do I. Does anyone know if I can use a housing from a different engine (e.i. 1.4)? I have a Mark1 1.2 (can't afford a Williams)- thanks

Wich 1.2 is it the 1149cc or the 1171cc?

The D7F 8v engine, its the same engine used in the mk2 clios 98-07. They all look the same on these engines so any from those cars should be fine, the filters on 1.4s are completly different.
