air filter

hiya ,i have a clio 1.2 dynamique and was wanting to put an air filter on it , tis has proved difficult up to now and i believe you have to remove the air box and a specifin typ of tube / filter as my car is on a 51 plate ??

just wondering if anyone can help me out or point me in the rite direction ??? thanks

Hello mate, for the 1.2 16v Clio all you need is an adapter plate like so:

remove your airbox, fit the adapter, then whack the filter onto that, piece off piss.

Yeah, but I bought a K&N for a Clio 1.2 16v on ebay for about £70 but it comes with a cold airfeed, cable ties, stickers, the cone filter, plastic adapter plate and all the fitting bits and bobs, so its well worth it.
What do you mean about the airbox bracket?

Ahh cheers mate looks good , what I meant was the top of the air box pops straight off with the panel filter does the bottom part of it stay put ? thanks

well the whole airbox with the panel filter inside comes off, along with the anorexic air intake pipe to.

When you say aneroxic air pipe that's the one connected to the front of the air box yeahh ?

Yeah, its a small black pipe that runs from the airbox to a fitment just behind the headlight

Cheers for your help mate I'm gunna go ahead and buy the 57i link you posted me , what sort of cold feed pipe does it come with ? Is it a durable rubber one or one of the cheeper foil things ?

Wicked, its a good kit, very nice noise from it aswell. The cold airfeed pipe is like a black plastic/foil thing, but its fine tbh
