Hi what is best a induction kit or a proformance panel filterthank you

ktec or homemade ktec seems to give noticable gains on the rollers. But in reality i think the only different you will notice is the induction roar from an open cone as apposed to a panel filter giving the impression your going faster

Most other open cone kits loose you a few bhp

Open cones suck in warm engine from the engine bay. Warm air doesn't combust as good as cold air. Got V6 air box.

Ktec style doesnt because the cone is placed infront of the battery where the stock caf would go

£180 from Ktec is overpriced. Could make same set up up for a third the price

I made my own with a K&N filter and some silicon pipe for £35ish all new. Roars well but no noticable gain. Standard airbox is very well designed, just stick an ITG/K&N/other cleanable element filter in.
