Itg oe foam filter

Does the cylindrical itg foam filter for a phase 1 clip 172 airbox make a noticeable difference in sound/ response. I am mainly looking for sound but am struggling to find silicon intake pipes for a phase 1 car as I’ve been told by dealers that they won’t work. I’ve decided to stay with the original filter box but want to change the filter. Is an itg filter worth it?

I don't think there is that much of a difference in sound when just replacing the filter element, only gain over a paper filter is lifespan and probably slightly better airflow. And the fact it can be reused / cleaned
