Air filters?

Just wondering..
whats the best air filter to get for a 1.2 dynamique?
i just want to give my car a nice sound, but nothing too drastic!

Ben, TBH mate, you're not going to get much sound out of an IK on a 1.2, I would spend your money on a nice exhaust!

i've got an IK on my 1.2 extreme and it does give a better sound, but only at higher revs so would get an exhaust over an IK, but for cheapness an IK's not bad

Really?? I could never hear mine back in the day when I had my old 1.2 dynamique!

mines made a lot of difference to the sound :S before you couldnt hear the car at all really not sounds a bit meatier. Tbh ive probs lost bhp because of it but am well happy just because of how it sounds.

obviously exhaust will make a much bigger change to the noise but are much more expensive.

My induction kit only cost £14.99 from ebay (topgearshop was the seller i think) but the same ones seem to be £50+ from online shops. Its wolfrace quiet but does the job tbh

Deffo worth it because of pure cheapness and new noise

yeh, think its because my air filter is bolted straight on to the air intake

yeah, i was thinking of a new exhaust but changed my mind and just want a filter now.
not after anything really loud, just something a little meatier
