Air Intake Gurgle

Hi guys, got a clio authentique 1.2 8v 2002, recently I have noticed that when I am idling there is a gurgle noise coming from the air intake, I tried removing the air filter but the noise continues, it only stops if I cover most of the intake hose with my hand, but as soon as I remove my hand the gurgling starts again, its not terribly loud it just sounds like the air filter is rattling against the bulkhead...
Any ideas/solutions greatly appreciated.
