Clio 197 R27
Hi,
I have a 57 plate Clio 197 R27 which has currently seen both the airbag fault and service light pop up. I've followed the path of many posted comments on the forums without making any success stories. So far I have checked underneath both driver and passenger seats, wiggled connections around and disconnected the reconnected the plugs. Is it a possibility is could actually be an issue with the steering wheel/dashboard airbag? If so how would I go about solving this problem?
If it merely was a simple connection problem underneath the seats, would the fault indication lights clear at once when the problem is resolved? I know the comms on cars of this age operate on Canbus and may need the fault code resetting using software even if the problem has gone away.
Any help/advice would be appreciated, my troubleshooting has now come to an abrubt halt!
