airbag blew off

last night i hit a kurb and the passenger side seat airbag blew off can i just replace the airbag or does the whole seat need doing .

i was wll pissed off i hit it on the drivers side last night due to the lights going off i couldnt see where i was going what do you mean by makes a mess of it?

airbag light will be stuck on the dash IIRC, need a new airbag computer to get rid of it and make the system work again...

it comes out the seat, when i did it there were bits of seat everywhere!

you'll also need the airbag ecu replaced / reset to turn the lights off.

yer new seat and air bag computer, located under centre console, mega bucks!

i paid £25 + some Corona's for a full interior.
and £60 for the airbag pooter

u can get an air bag sensor to replace it. i did the same

best off getting a 2nd hand one because they are a couple of hundred quid new if iirc.
