Airbag Front Impact Sensor?

Hello beautiful ClioSport people.

Last weekend I hit an object/animal in the road and smashed half my bumper and bent my rad a little. The airbag light is now on but the airbag didn't go off.

I'm guessing I have damaged or broken the wiring of the front impact sensor. However the only sensors I can find talked about on here are side impact sensors.

My question is, where is the front impact sensor? Could I have damaged or broken the wiring for the sensor?

Any help appreciated as I have removed my broken bumper and can't find it anywhere.

most likely triggered a seatbelt pre-tensioner

OK, thanks Dan.

Mine didn't go off and the passenger seatbelt wasn't plugged in. Can they still be triggered when they're not connected or could it be the same dodgy fault everyone gets?

No they'll trigger with a belt connected or not. Rear belts still movable?

Is there no sensor in the bumper then?

Nope all internal of the airbag ecu barring the 2 side impact sensors.

All my seatbelts work and none of the pretensioners appear to have gone off.

Tried the connectors under the seats and still no joy.
