airbag light and service light coming on and off?

The airbag light and service light on my 182 keeps coming on and then off again. It is very random and no pattern to it. It comes on for a few minutes then goes off again.

No fault code when I plug in my OBD scanner. Any ideas??

Check the wire under the drivers seat. Common fault.

Wire under passenger seat actually iirc. But yea. Just fiddle with the wires lol. Will be a loose connection. Also known as a "French connection"!

mine did this!! coming on and going off ramdomly until eventually it stayed on.

was the airbag squib ring that was my problem

Bit of a bump but was it just a case of changing to whole squib ring or can you play with the wires on this as well? And if you did replace where did you get the part from?
