Airbag light & MOT

Becasue i have no pretensioners connected the air bag warning light is on all the time, am i right in thinking this will fail the MOT?

If so, as i see it i have 3 options, take the dahs aprt and take the airbag bulb out - will this pass the MOT bearing in mind it wont light up when the ignition is turned on?

I can find the correct resisytance and buya couple of resistors and connect them over the wiring plug.

Or i can take the pretensioners off the seats - simple to do and connect them up and cable tie them to the sub frame of the bucket seats

find out if it is the pre tensioners causing the light to stay on....:P

oh rite my mate took his out on a t reg clio just thought it might be the same

shouldnt fail on air bag light as older cars dont have them.

mate your car will fail if the light is on.

i had to go to several crap yards for some second hand pretensioners which i found:)

give your mot peeps a call and they will tell you that you will need them

good idea on taking the bulb out or summit mite work
