airbag module

not sure if this is in the right section but oh well.would an airbag module from a 2000 model fit my 2002 model.
any help will be much appreciated.

Should do.

Don't forget that 2000 didn't had side airbags from memory plus rear tensioners are different eevn on the Mk2 as some have them others don't.

I wouldn't bother if youy've set yours off just get your cleared of fault codes.

yeah but if i can get one cheaper that has not been set off and just get them reset without sending my current one off to be cleared just thought it would be a bit less hassle. there is one on ebay for £30 inc p&p

Theres 7 types all with different settings ......if the part number isnt the same or doesnt superseed to the number you have it will not work
