Alarm and amp problem HELP!!!

Somebody help pls!

I was wiring in my amp and sub, everything was hidden and connected except for the remote lead at the head unit end! I toutched the the wrong wire with it and it set the alarm of but disabeled everything turning it off so my alarm is going and i cant do nothing about it! in the end i had to take out the siren and disconnect a lead inside to shut it up now the alarm wont work and i have not put back in the head unit! ringing uip the bloke who installed the alarm as it was only yesterday it was put in! just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas??????????????????????????????????????

Well too late now but I wouldnt have opened up the alarm, could invalidate the warranty.

Sounds like you shorted something out setting off the alarm but that shouldnt have stopped you turing it off. Might be the alarm was faulty.

Do you know what the wire was that you touched? Have you tested the HU, is it ok?

Ive done this on my 16v, i was wiring up my headunit and touched some wire on the car chassis, the alarm wouldnt shutup, it was a fuse in the end.

CHECK ALL THE FUSES MATE

looked at alll the fuses all look ok which one was it that went?

likes been said check the fuses, youll find that the alarm my see it as an attempt to mess with its wireing and hence it goes off.

problem solved!

Two fuses blew cos when the amp was wired in the tinyest piece of copper form the earth terminal was touching the remote lead! all works even the alarm! cheers for the help!
