alarm beeping x 3 when setting

sometimes when i set my alarm it gives 3 little beeps, not from the horn or the actual siren, almost like i would expect from leaving door open but its all secure anyone any ideas?

its got something to do with the time between the ignition being switched of and leaving the car then locking it.
it shows a diagram in the alarm manual we got with our car but it is very confusing to say the least to understand.

if your alarm beeps three times when locking it means you ultrasonic sensors are disabled (meaning you can leave pets etc in the car).

sometimes it works other times it dosnt,alot of people have taken there clio's back to renault to look at the alarm as it is a common fault i believe?

mine does it but im not botherd. if you wait a few seconds after taking the keys out it doesnt beep well mine doesnt anyway

Another common problem is when you lock the car the alarm beeps 2 or 3 times.
Reason: The alarm system has received a signal from the vehicle ECU that the ignition is 'on' causing the alarm to beep. This signal is only received by the alarm for 3 to 4 seconds, after this time has elapsed the alarm stops beeping.

Solution: It can only be resolved at a Renault dealer. Ask the dealer to contact the 'Renault alarm help line' and quote reference
'RS+15'.

it seems my 182 has the 2-3 beeps problem after locking the car.
will need to pay a visit to the dealers i think.

by the way edde does the alarm still arm properly if it beeps this way?

I might be wrong but the answer I gave is the correct one for your question. You said it beeps at you three times the answer I posted is that if it does this when being locked then well the text is above.

Yes alarms works check it if you want leave a window etc open.
