Alarm going off...

When I get in my car, then lock the door fron the inside with the dash door lock, then start the car the alarm goes off!

when I press the dash door lock, it is the same as pressing the fob button, it turns the alarm on, or if it is locked, and I press it, it beeps and unlocks the car

what is wrong with my alarm, is it supposed to do this?

mine also does this, start the engine first and it should be ok

is this normal then, seems bit weird!

Just start the engine then drive off, locks anyway then! Pretty sure mine doesn't do it.
