alarm help please urgent

my alarm has been constantly going off over the course of the evening...when i reset it it just beeps in short blasts. have checked all the doors and boot etc

It will eventually set after messing about for 5 mins opening and unlocking by the remote...starting to really get on mine and my neighbours tits now

anyone ever had this problem or have any ideas what it might be?? going to take it in tomorrow morning but i reckon they wont touch it on a saturday morning and really dont want it happening all over the weekend

i do yeah thats why i posted.....thought u reply was a piss take if it wasnt i apologise ....if it was double it lol...and yeah it is raining

in that case go open your bonnet.. find the trigger switch, pull the cable spade tag off it. then shut and lock again. common problem with cars is that they are at the front of the bay and water runs down to them and shorts them out. if disconnectin it works get it relocated to up in the middle somehwere

ok cheers mate...batterys off now and car locked up in the garage was totally doing me head in...will have a look at it again in the morning and also see what reno say.

so i guess a sorry is deserved as u wasnt taking the piss

lol no probs mate. def worth a try its prob that simple as i've had the problem times before. plus if u pull the tag off it wont set the alarm off as it works on a normally open circuit
