Alarm Help

When i press the button and lock my car the alarm beeps once, indicators flash and the car locks. Then the alarm just beeps constantly like a door is open. I have checked all the door/bonnett sensors etc, along with the fuse, all the windows are up and there is nothing in-front of the interior sensors.

Any ideas what the issue is? Or is this a trip to Renault?

Mine does this sometimes, I just ignore it.. think its because I press the button too quick ..

Check the bonnet switch with a meter, they are prone to fail due to water ingress.

No, just a constant montone bleep.

oppss thats not good, mine stops after about 10 seconds, I would take it into Renault ?

dont worry, mine did this..its like am annoying beep thats goes on for over a minute when you lock the car, took mine to a local garage and turned out to be a sensor in the boot where water had got in (common problem)....it was £10.50 to replace!!

Since you don't have the tools get a garage to check it.
