If i were to get a clifford alarm for example, when they install it can they bypass the current immobiliser in the ecu (a 95 valver)? or would i need both the clifford fob, and my existing renault fob to start my car?
spoke to clifford directly and they said they could bypass the immobiliser by mounting the chip from my ke in a transponder behind the dash so it is always emitting a signal. has anyone had this done? my problem is that both of my keys don't work so what happens if it is the chip gone in both keys? shell out for clifford alarm then have to still shell out for replacement keys for from renault.
