Yes alarm, if you wanna check its there, sit in the car, lock it with key then open door.

Or unlock it and open door real quick, you can open it before alarm is fully disarmed.

Or leave bonnet open when locking it.

Not all ph2's had alarms... iirc uk spec models had alarms as standard. Easiest way to check is see is the sensors.

Imports didn't have an alarm fitted , they also didn't have locking wheel nuts as standard . But don't worry if yours is an import . They are exactly the same car , same spec , made in the same factory . Just minus the alarm and locking wheel nuts . They're not the same as Grey Imports which often came from overseas countries like Japan , which didn't have UK specs . If you look down by the gear stick , it should have a little red led for the alarm if yours is a UK car .
