all 4 engine mounts changed - still movement

changed all 4 engine mounts on my 172 on tuesday with new genuine ones, but there still seems to be a bit of movement when slowing down at junctions or roundabouts as if the engine has chugged a bit or if you give it full throttle at low revs to go for a gap at a roundabout theres movement.

i dont remember it being like this when it was new? could something else cause this? the car was just serviced not long ago with genuine parts inc genuine spark plugs, its on 42k

cheers

i can feel it when coming off throttle, the engines moving, gearsticks moving too, cars not driving smoothly when slow in traffic in first gear.

when the cars cold its really lumpy to drive, i know the cars are pretty crap when cold but this is worse than it used to be! it feels like when my lambda went! but no dash lights on YET! would the cars running be affected if the upstream lambda went? (downstream is only couple of months old)

upstream one is the important one get it checked if you want.

not done it yet but looks like a case of just unbolting the subframe and droping it, disconecting the steering rack to get it a bit lower then unbolt it and squeeze it out!

sounds easyer than it really is probably! haha

mine does a similar thing like you have described, if you give it some at low revs, its almost as though the gearbox shifts a bit before it will pick up, I sort of came to terms with it as its only now and again. if you find a solution i'd like to know!
