no offence...but i just dont get this...cage for looks thing.

altho it does look like fairly good quality, why have something like that in ur car when a cage that will actually help save you will cost around the same???

and if its for looks.wouldnt you be better off with seats in there, and screens hanging from the behind the drivers seat etc.

i dont take offence, i like to hear peoples views so ill answer in order.

1. it isnt fairly good quality, the quality is SUPERB.

2. I have not intention of using this on a track as its a show car, when i removed the rear seats i had the full intention of fitting a cage in the back. The bolt in and weld in cages are just too purposeful and, they are powder coated steel which will protect me if i roll the car granted. Im not going to do that tho. I am happy in the fact that i am the ONLY person in the country with a cage like this in a Clio Sport. (for now anyway).

3. i dont like the driving postion, I love my buckets and if you look at the 2nd pic down at the passenger sunvisor you'll see where the screens are going...

if its just as a show car, then surely a cage that will allow full use of the rears would be better. cages also come in t45, so not always powder coated CDS

so a cage is only good for if you roll your car?? ok then...no good if someone say, runs into the side of you, or the front, or the back?? stiffens the shell up nice too.;)

gotta agree with you on the driving position tho..........its terrible.

I love having no rear seats. Cant stand people yapping behind me for starters, plus its lighter with only 2 people.

I didnt want a proper cage, i want people to appreciate something that isnt bought off the shelf so ive had these designed and they are superb for show. The mirror polished finished matches the polished lip on my wheels so im happy.

good stuff.. but you ditch the rears for lightness.......then put a whacking great heavy as fuk cage in.lol

for a show car, why a cage?? like i said before, surely a full on interior retrim is a better option for a show car, that looks just like an attempt at trying to cut corners, taking stuff out so you dont have to do anything with em, rear seats etc. not show car standards there.

and if you have the zorst loud enough......you cant hear anyone yapping at you in car lol......i can barely hear my mp3 players headphones on full blast wen im givin the car a bit of stick....ice is heavy lol

i see where your coming from, but these cages can easily be lifted with one hand.

they are very light, the tubes are hollow. lol

and yes i cant hear my music on full chat, but my engine is my music, and she plays a good tune....
