You will have to let me know when you go to Donno again if that ok? as I live very close. I was out in the valver on Sunday morning around there. I went to see Matt first in Hinckley and pick up a few spares.

Have you got your spin out on go pro?

I don't think I have, it wasn't running for the first laps unfortunately.

I'll be back at Donington later in the year more than likely, I'll let you know... If I remember.. Lol

I’ve done a couple of evenings up there. I’ve done only a hand full of track days over the years all in all, but I want to start using my Clio for a few track days this year and and I don’t fancy travelling too far as I don’t have a trailer etc.

I'm sure having the battery in an oversized tea cosy didn't come as standard either! (I'm only being picky because I'm jealous, even though I'm not sure if I'm jealous of the seller or the buyer.)

Tell me exactly how you'd like it to be & I'll make sure my Williams is like that when I put it up for sale 😜

Old thread but only just found it.

Here's mine. It's my 3rd over the years but only owned this since Dec.

Me and the boy managed to get to a local car meet before it decided it didn't want any more coolant in the engine and left it all over the floor. Attempting the fix tonight so I can get it moved back into the garage before the rain is due here in the next couple of days. A guy on entry was taking pictures.

I may as well carry on putting a few photos on here whilst I still own the car.

Here are a few from the summer.

Mine and my friends V6 waiting to get into the French Day at Brooklands Museum. Was a poor turnout but not well promoted by the Museum. It was their first year doing a French Day so hopefully if they do it again many more will make the trip.

More photos taken by a random photographer at a local meet.

A very wet day below at Beaulieu Musuem for the French Day. I hid inside all day avoiding the rain so only took one photo. Once it dried up I got dragged to the new play area by my 5 year old. By the time we finished everyone had gone.

Last photo before being put away for a bit.

And now it's in the garage with a cheap temporary cover. In heavy wind it seems to get covered in dust as the wind rattles through the garage. It's stored in a lockup unit away from the house so not sure when it will next be out.

One of my mates had a few mk1s and it was his fault I ended up buying my clios.

Wonder if anyone on here remembers/knows what happened to one. He had a blue mk1 valver reg L9PAJ back in 2008 or 2009 that had a cam’d 172 lump in it. It was one of the first done in the country (according to him anyway) and was converted in 2005 ish.

By the time he got it, it was stripped of everything, cage fitted and a pair of buckets. I remember going to a car meet in it in the middle of winter and coming back to the windscreen frozen solid on the inside with no way to defrost it 😂.

It was a properly rapid little car that was. He sold it to a lad based locally who I think was going to take the conversion out of that shell and fit it to his. The shell was a bit rough but never really saw the point. I think his was an electric blue 1.2. Be interested to see if it ever happened.
