ALL YOU SPECIFICATION NUTS!!! what size???



awryt kids, so im gettin a lowering kit from gmax.

however, they asked me for some details so they know what kit to send.

i have a mk2 ph1 2000 grande X reg 8v

now apparently (forgive me if my tech terms arnt correct) something to do with the bolt size will either be 52mm or 58mm (im not talkin about the drop btw)

i need to take my shockies off and measure them apparently, but im wondering if anyone would know wot size i need without going through the hassle....

please tell me someone knows wot im talking about

simple turn the wheels to full lock and then you can messure with out taking the wheels and shocks off mate

no its a grey area, the were raiding the parts bin around that time, some have 52 others have 58, will only take you 5min

99% sure it will be 52mm on that car, good luck trying to find a kit that fits, I had spax on my old one. You can always put the more common 58mm hubs on.

yeah im pretty sure, with my luck itl be the 52mm, which they dont make a kit for! so wot do i need to adapt the 58mm kit on?? u mentioned changing the hubs...

Yeah just the hub, should be a straight swap, youll be able to find one easily from a scrap yard thats ready to roll with bearings in.
