Alloy cleaner

Hey guy's and gal's,

I've struggled years trying to find a good product which cleans the shite such as tar and grime off my MK1 172 wheels. What does everyone use? I can never get mine properly clean. I spend about 20 mins on each wheel and its never free of grime and tar.

Fred (who knows his wheels) recommends Fairy power spray (Yes, the stuff that does plates!) Try a search and see what you can find.

Is that the same muc off that you use on mountain bikes, because i've got about 5 liters of that stuff?

i use wonder wheels, some things dont come straight off but they do if you apply it a couple of times

Meguiars hot rims is the best ive used.

Autoglym Rngine and Machine cleaner or Motorcycle cleaner, both lift grime are paintwork freindly as they are both acid fee.
