Alloy Locking Key?

I had a tyre changed last month and have since not been able to find the locking key for my 15" Renault alloys.

Either I've put it somewhere really stupid, or it's been left at the garage.

My local Renault dealership have offered to remove and replace all the locking nuts for a sky-high fee [£120]

I want to know if there's any alternatives, I'm a complete noob when it comes to cars

hi, i had a similar problem two days ago, i needed a spare puttin on, in the end i called out RAC, who had to get a socket, a malet and and hammer it on, hey presto did the job, they even left the socket for future. cheers RAC :rasp:

I once lost my key and me and a few mates got a bar of metal and welded it onto each locking nut. then we just tugged on the metal bar til the nut came loose.
