alloy pedals

ive been looking at alloy pedals, i asked in halfords and they said i could'nt put them on my clio because the acclerator pedal was plastic, is there any way around this?

yup.

pop off clutch plastic cover to reveal metal plate, pop off brake plastic cover to reveal metal plate, and leave the accelorator plastic one on as its just an L shaped bar.

i answered it, leave the plastic cover on the accelorator pedal as its just a bar, dont take it off, take the other 2 off

The Mk2's have a plastic pedal as mentioned.

The other 2 can be drilled and new pedals put on.

The accl pedal needs to be removed (unclipped) then you have to play around with the mounting screws, it does work! Be careful with the plastic and you may need a dremel to cut some off.

If u put it in the wrong place ur screwed tho! as it will be wonky forever!

I thought changing they pedals for these "ripspeed" style ones is an MoT failure?
