Alloy question

Okay, I'm prepared to be laughed out of the door here with my no doubt bone question, but here goes:

Also, go easy, I just go my first car and am totally new to anything hands on with cars.

Anyway, my Clio's wheels are 165/70 R13 79 T , and I just measured my wheel and it's 15 inches in diameter and including tires it's about 20.5/21 inches across. So, and remember to go easy, can I have alloys bigger than 15 inches but with a smaller tire? And if so, up to what size roughly?

your alloys are 13" going off your tyre size....then the tyre is 1" tall so to speak, making it 15" all the way across? that what you mean?

depends on the model what size wheel you can put on....what model is it? RN/RT?

Oh sorry.

1999 1.2 Grande

Also Foxy the wheels are 15 inch across by my tape measure

15" wheels will go on that fine. Anything up to a 17" probably will, but you'll look like a tool, and it'll drive like a wheelbarrow. 15/16" ftw.
