alloy refurb

hi there how bad can your alloy be to get repaired does anyone know?

it can have chunks missing out of it. but the worse it is, the more its going to cost to refurb. theres also the issue that the alloy will have a chunk of filler in it, so wont be as strong. may be a good reason to just buy a new wheel as it may work out easier
